Open Question: Should I wear an altered navy blue blazer with a v-neck style T shirt or a regular neck style t-shirt?

I look kind of short in that pic for some reason, but I'm not, I'm 5'10", and I know my jeans are just average (not the nicest), but it was my only pair today, the other ones are in the washing machine.

So... judging by this pic, would you say this outfit is nice? Do you like it?

I'm a guy by the way. I'm wearing a custom navy blue blazer (sleeves are altered into 3/4 length) with gold cuff links and buttons. I wanna pair it with either a crisp and clean white v-neck T-shirt or these two other regular neckline t-shirts I'm considering. I was hoping someone out there with some fashion sense could tell me which style T-shirt would look best. Open Question: How would I go about moving to NYC...with no money?

I've heard about Lady Gaga's album called "Disco Heaven", which includes a lot of songs which are not included neither in "The Fame" nor "The Fame Monster" album. One of them is "Fashion", for example. I want to have all Lady Gaga's original (non-pirate) albums, but I can't find "Disco Heaven" anyway, some people even say that it's an unofficial fanmade compilation. Is this true, or Lady Gaga does have an official album called "Disco Heaven"? If not, which album includes the song "Fashion"?

Open Question: How would I go about moving to NYC...with no money?

I am currently 17. I want to move to NYC Sep 2011. By then I will be almost 19. I have no money what so ever. I would be moving to go attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. My mom can give about $500 a month to me.

The idea behind the "vegetarian diet" is not so much that meat is considered "dirty" or "bad", but "ahimsa" (non-violence).....Chiefly that it is wrong and unethical for us humans to brutally slaughter living things in a barbaric fashion for food purposes. The same principle exists to an extent in Buddhism.

However, if a humane method was used to produce meat and a method that was clean, ethical and respected animal dignity can meat consumption still be allowed? I'm trying to steer away from the textiles area, however I am still going to experiment with it in my sketchbook. I'm more or less interested in all the other styles, especially the photomontage area. If anyone could advise me on any good artists for this project, that would be great :)

my evening has consisted of drinking cold water and watching cartoons. king of the hill, family guy, and the oblongs...the last two are my absolute favorite and I could watch them all day. they are so offensive and funny i can never get enough hahaha the dress im wearing i made a long time ago and never finished it. i added the halter for the photoshoot and i really loved how it came out- better photos of it soon, I might put it up in my store. its chiffon and has a really fun color blend with gold stud detail. On another note, just because its on my mind, I am so glad that my focus on my dreams in this crazy fashion world has kind of filtered out the people in my life that aren't good enough. I look back to who I used to surround myself with a few years ago and don't know what i was thinking. Jealous and desperate friends are not a cute accessory to have, and I know that in high school it seems that is all there is to choose from. For the longest time after I realized this, it felt like I had zero friends and zero social life but I was okay with that. I never had a best friend that lasted for more than a minute, and I loved my work and art more than anything that nothing else really mattered to me and I am so glad I made the sacrifice! I'm better than all those lame people and have never settled for anything but the best; even if that meant being a loser on friday nights. ;) or maybe I was just always surrounded by shitty people and didn't have much to choose from? whatever. best advice i can give anyone: just drop the people in your life that aren't good enough for you, the ones that bring you down, and the ones that won't amount to anything in life. >> full story
