Facehunter Says "Au Revoir" To Paris

Style junkies have been up on The Facehunter for some time now. The street-style blog of Yvan Rodic documents the hippest people from all over the world, including most of Europe and other fashion hot spots like New York and Sao Paulo. His site skews a little younger and more hipster-y than The Sartorialist, probably the other most famous street-style blog. Anyway, Rodic is leaving Paris, his home for 3 years, and moving to London. London really has become the epicenter of fashion lately, so the move makes sense. Rodic also had some interesting things about Paris, which apparently is getting a little stale:

"The image of Paris you get from the fashion industry is a million miles away from the 'real people' who mostly don't get off on dressing up. Old people still have a snappy sense of style, but the young have lost their heritage and aren't experimental enough to replace it. I might as well just say it, Paris has lost its sense of style. London, New York, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Reykjavik are the most inspiring places I've been - places where you can find people inventing new cultures, new ways of dressing, or at least enjoying elegance."

So there you have it--New York is officially cooler than Paris, and at least as cool as Copenhagen. Awesome.
